Jelly (and just about everyone else in the bar) laughed when they saw me, The Deep Sea Diver start dancing to &#8220;Monster Mash&#8221;.  Maybe I&#8217;ll get some dance lessons from Spiderman and Spiderwoman so I can take home 1st place next year!</span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: black; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Microsoft Sans Serif';">This weekend I will be entering one of my surfboard chairs in to the 2009 Ventura County Fair. If accepted, it will be on display in the Professional Arts building August<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>4<sup>th</sup> through the 16<sup>th</sup>. The chair is made out of redwood and a recycled surfboard. In order to compete with the funnel cakes and turkey legs, I decided to go all out and drop in two custom made fish tanks. They  fit securely under the removable armrests and will be home to two beta fish. </span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: left;">This past summer I built a surfboard chair out of reclaimed Blue Gum and Red River Eucalyptus.  The wood is milled in Santa Barbara, CA and it&#8217;s some of the toughest stuff to work with.  I went through several drill bits and screws and even burned up one of my battery operated screw guns.  Despite the difficulties, the end result  made for a beautiful piece of furniture.  After I finished the chair I had some scraps left over so I decided to make some longboard wall clocks.</p>
